Art of Words offers both written and oral language services in English. If you are translating a text, you really have to know what you are talking about; a good dictionary does not make you an expert. With this in mind, this means that my work mainly, though not exclusively, focuses on areas in which I have in-depth knowledge and considerable translating experience: automotive, IT, telecommunications, architecture, interior and design, marketing, advertising as well as HR.

All translations take customer terminology and style into account. If required, texts are adapted to suit particular target groups or localised for specific markets.

Like all translators, I work with the standard Microsoft Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher) as well as Adobe FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat Standard, which allows PDF files to be accessed. In addition, I base translations on translation memories by using the TRADOS software. Memories enable me to store and reuse translations, automatically calling up similar passages from previous texts and thus improving productivity. Customers' term databases can also be integrated, guaranteeing language consistency for each individual customer. And with an increasing number of updates, as well as similarities in texts, this means your project is finished faster, with guaranteed consistency, at an interesting price.
